Fireplace Insert Insulation
This Fiberglass Fireplace Insert Insulation is a 10′ x 1-1/2″ wide strip of insulation that forms a smoke and gas tight seal between a fireplace insert and the surrounding masonry. The insulation should be replaced every time an insert is removed for cleaning. Installation of the Fireplace Insert Insulation is easy, just peel of the self-adhesive backing and apply to the back of the fireplace insert flange to seal the space between the flange and the masonry surface. Fireplace batting material helps limit air leaks.
Adhesive insert insulation to be used when installing and should be replaced when there are signs that a seal has been breached.
